Astaghfirullāh

I seek Allah’s forgiveness.

Muslim 591

Allāhumma antas-salām wa minkas-salām, tabārakta yā dhal-jalāli wal-ikrām

O Allah, You are Peace and from You comes peace. Blessed are You, Owner of majesty and honour.

Muslim 591

Lā ilāha illallāhu waḥdahū lā sharīka lah, lahul-mulku wa lahul-ḥamdu wa huwa ‘alā kulli shay’in qadīr. Allāhumma lā māni‘a limā a‘ṭayt, wa lā mu‘ṭiya limā mana‘t, wa lā yanfa‘u dhal-jaddi minkal-jadd

There is no god but Allah alone, with no partner. His is the dominion and His is the praise, and He has power over all things. O Allah, none can withhold what You give, none can give what You withhold, and no one’s wealth avails him against You.

Bukhari 844, Muslim 593

Āyat al-Kursī

Allah — there is no god but He, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of all. Neither drowsiness nor sleep overtakes Him. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and the earth. Who could intercede with Him except by His leave? He knows what is before them and what is behind them, and they encompass nothing of His knowledge except what He wills. His Throne extends over the heavens and the earth, and guarding them does not tire Him. He is the Most High, the Most Great.

Sayyid al-Istighfar: O Allah, You are my Lord, there is no god but You. You created me and I am Your servant, and I keep Your covenant and promise as far as I can. I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done. I acknowledge Your favour upon me and I acknowledge my sin, so forgive me, for none forgives sins but You.

Bukhari 6306

Allāhumma bika aṣbaḥnā, wa bika amsaynā, wa bika naḥyā, wa bika namūtu, wa ilaykan-nushūr

O Allah, by You we enter the morning and by You we enter the evening, by You we live and by You we die, and to You is the resurrection (in the evening: and to You is the return).

at-Tirmidhi 3391, Abu Dawud 5068
